Join Our Team as a Zamboni Driver
If you’ve ever watched a freshly resurfaced sheet of ice and thought, “I want to be the one behind the wheel,” this is your moment. We’re looking for a Zamboni Driver who takes pride in precision, safety, and creating an exceptional experience for every skater who steps onto our ice.
This isn’t just about driving a machine. It’s about helping create the magic that happens on the rink. Hockey games, figure skating shows, public sessions, and special events all depend on you to deliver smooth, safe, and professional-quality ice.
What You’ll Do
• Operate the Zamboni to resurface and maintain the rink between events
• Ensure the ice is clean, smooth, and hazard-free
• Follow all safety guidelines and keep skaters and staff safe throughout operations
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the Zamboni
• Stay on schedule so events run smoothly and the ice is ready when needed
• Communicate with rink management and event teams to coordinate resurfacing times
• Keep the Zamboni and surrounding work areas clean and well-maintained
• Maintain accurate records of resurfacing, fuel use, and maintenance
• Support other rink operations including facility upkeep, equipment setup, and general maintenance tasks
What Makes You a Great Fit
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with a Zamboni or machinery is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated individuals
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Comfortable working in a cold environment
• Great time management and communication skills
• Reliable, positive, and ready to contribute to an excellent guest experience
Whether you’re an experienced operator or someone who has what it takes to learn, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in creating unforgettable moments on the ice and become part of the team that keeps the rink running at its best.
The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
