Girls Hockey Coach

The Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) is seeking a passionate and motivated Girls Hockey Coach to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season.OHA is a private boarding high school hockey academy in Cornwall, Ontario, serving student-athletes from across Canada and around the world. Our girls program continues to grow, with multiple teams competing at a high level.Position Responsibilities: Lead and manage one of our girls hockey teams.Plan and conduct engaging on-ice practices focused on individual and team development.Develop players both technically and tactically throughout the season.Prepare teams for games, tournaments, and league play.Maintain a positive, professional, and competitive team environment.Support the academic and personal development of student-athletes within the academy environment.Qualifications:Previous hockey coaching experience.Strong understanding of player development and modern hockey concepts.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively with teenage student-athletes.Hockey Canada coaching certification is an asset.Playing or coaching experience at a competitive level is an asset.Must be willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check and required coaching certifications.About OHA:The Ontario Hockey Academy provides student-athletes with the opportunity to combine high-level hockey development with a strong academic education.
