    Norwich Free Academy (NFA) is accepting applications for the position of Hockey Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Norwich Hockey Club (NHC). This stipend-based role ($3,500 annually) is responsible for managing scheduling, team logistics, travel arrangements, equipment, and communication to ensure seamless program operations. The position works closely with the Head Hockey Coach, student-athletes, and families, providing organizational support that fosters a high-performance, student-centered environment. Candidates should demonstrate experience in hockey operations, athletics administration, or sports logistics, with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

     

    Qualifications:

     
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in hockey operations, athletics administration, or sports logistics required.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex scheduling systems for practices, games, and travel.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
    • Experience working in high school or collegiate hockey environments is preferred.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as necessary.
