Job Summary
Working independently, exercising good judgment, and discretion in executing and performing the Club Sports Hockey Summer Camp duties. Assisting students as needed with questions. Supervise campers ensuring their overall safety, travel, punctuality (staying on schedule), development, growth, and general well-being through displaying patience, kindness, enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and efficient communication. Full understanding of our zero-tolerance for bullying/hazing guidelines and a willingness to take proper action. Willingness to help with camp events such as on-ice/off-ice skills, small groups, games, etc. Ensure knowledge of campers’ dietary, allergy, and medical needs prior to engaging in any activities. Ensure the residential camper is properly checked out at the end of camp with a designated sibling, parent, or family friend.

Qualifications and Credentials
Education and Experience
High school diploma required. Safe Sport Certified required. Previous experience working a counselor for summer camps preferred. Well-developed communication skills verbally. Ability to be on-time and follow a schedule set by the director.

Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
