Sports Administrator & Coach: Hockey

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least two years' relevant experience in Hockey coaching, sports management or a similar role at Prep and/or High School level

• Is SACE registered

• Has strong administrative, organisational and communication skills

• Is confident using Microsoft Office and sports management software

• Has a genuine passion for sport and understands its role in the broader development of young people

• Leads by example and is a positive role model for students

• Brings an educational, encouraging and patient approach to coaching

• Can inspire confidence, motivate players and create enthusiasm around the programme

• Is comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts and keeping the proverbial balls, sticks and fixtures in the air

• Values ongoing learning and development

• Works collaboratively and brings flexibility, adaptability and a constructive attitude to a busy school environment

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands that a successful sports programme is not measured only by results. It is also reflected in the experience of the students who participate in it, the culture created around the sport and the sense of pride and belonging that grows from being part of a team.
