Position Description

WE WOULD LIKE TO TRAIN YOU TO BECOME A ZAMBONI DRIVER!

Braemar Arena currently has openings for the Zamboni Driver/Ice Maintenance position. This position is responsible for making quality ice at designated times, cleaning locker rooms and bathrooms in a safe manner. Β Bleachers, hallways and lobbies as assigned to your scheduled zone. Β Need to be able to interact with the public in a safe, professional, courteous, and helpful manner, as well as, being able to work as team when needed.Β 

This is a part-time position. Current open shifts to fill include hours in the evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions

These positions require excellent customer service skills, be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast pace environment and have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.

Qualifications

Minimum Age Requirement: The Zamboni Driver/Ice Maintenance I candidate needs to be 18 years of age or older.Β 

Desired Qualifications: Two years of related work experience is desired but, like we said, we are willing to train.

Supplemental Information

Physical Requirements: Β Weekly lifting, pushing and/or pulling up to 80 pounds. Assistive devices are available. Use of Zamboni requires frequent climbing and overhead reach to operate.

Working Conditions: This job is performed indoors within an ice arena environment.Β
