Position Summary

The Athletics Department at Concordia University Wisconsin, a private NCAA DIII institution in Mequon, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Coach in the ACHA Hockey program. This is a part-time, seasonal position reporting to the program's Head Coach and further to the Director of Athletics. Assistant Coaches at CUWAA fulfill the Athletics

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help practice plan.
  • Help coordinate team drills.
  • Attend practice and games.
  • Support and integrate the mission and values of Concordia University within the program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the game.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Supportive of mission and core values of the CUWAA Athletics Department.
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Education and Experience

  • High school Diploma.
  • Knowledge of the game, competency to demonstrate and a working understanding of the rules along with course management are critical for success.

Compensation and Benefits

  • This is a part-time, seasonal position paid by way of bi-monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
