Head Boys Hockey Varsity Coach

Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Head Boys Hockey Coach for the 2026-2027 season. Start Date: November 16th, 2026
The Head Boys Hockey Coach is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all aspects of the boys hockey program. The successful candidate will work to develop student-athletes both on and off the ice while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and academic success.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices, games, and offseason activities
• Develop individual and team skills while promoting player growth
• Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches within the program
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, administration, and community members
• Promote sportsmanship and positive character development
• Manage equipment, uniforms, and program inventory
• Coordinate team travel and game-day operations
• Ensure compliance with school district policies and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) regulations
• Assist with youth program development and fostering long-term program success
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all student-athletes

Qualified candidates should possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a commitment to developing student-athletes and building a successful program culture.
