    Program Leadership & Development

    • Plan, organize, and oversee all levels of the program (varsity, JV, and lower levels as applicable)
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Hockey program philosophy
    • Coordinate with feeder programs to ensure long-term athlete development

    Coaching & Player Development

    • Conduct effective practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and strategy
    • Teach fundamental and advanced basketball techniques
    • Promote physical conditioning, injury prevention, and overall athlete wellness
    • Provide individual and team feedback to support growth and performance

    Game Preparation & Management

    • Prepare game strategies, scouting reports, and opponent analysis
    • Make in-game decisions to maximize team success
    • Ensure proper supervision and sportsmanship during all contests

    Student-Athlete Support

    • Monitor and promote academic progress and eligibility of student-athletes
    • Serve as a positive role model, emphasizing character, discipline, and respect
    • Support athletes in college recruitment opportunities where appropriate

    Program Administration

    • Schedule practices, games, and team events in coordination with the activities department
    • Maintain equipment, uniforms, and inventory
    • Manage program budget and fundraising efforts as needed
    • Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic association rules

    Staff & Communication

    • Recruit, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches
    • Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and administration
    • Promote the program within the school and community
