Position:  Head Boys Hockey Coach
Location(s):  High School and Middle School
Reports to:   Pequot Lakes Activities Director
Position Closes:  Open Until Filled
Start Date:  2025-2026 season
Salary Range:  $5,880 - $8,900

Qualifications and Experience:  
Pequot Lakes High School hosts a co-op Boys Hockey program along with Aitkin, Crosby, and Pine River-Backus called the Northern Lakes Lightning.  Successful candidates will have experience with organizing a successful program, hiring quality coaches, designing and managing a practice schedule, effectively communicating with players and parents, and ensuring a quality student experience.  

• Experience and familiarity with coaching a high school hockey program
• Familiarity with MSHSL rules and regulations for boys hockey
• Head coaching certificate required
• Previous Head Coaching experience preferred
