Ice Rink Facility Operations Coordinator / Zamboni Operator

Assist with overall maintenance of the facility. Operates the Zamboni machine to ensure safe and effective ice surface at the ice rink.

Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week during the season. Must be able to work weekday evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Must possess high school diploma and valid driver's license; plus have some relevant work experience operating heavy machinery.

Demonstrated knowledge of machinery operations including Ice resurfacer, ice edger, power washer, skid steer, and snow blower.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and members of the public.

Physical ability to operate the ice resurfacer, ice edger, power washer, snow blower, and skid steer.

Daily operation of the ice resurfacer.

Operates heavy equipment such as the ice edger, skid steer, power washer and snow blower as needed.

Performs other physical labor as needed at ice rink.

When working evening shifts, may be responsible for closing and securing the building at the end of the shift.

Complies with all safety requirements.

Supports Town policies and philosophies.

Performs other related duties as required.
