Job Summary/Basic Function:

Organize, issue, collect, and maintain team equipment, including jerseys, helmets, gloves, skates, and protective gear.
Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for practices, games, and team events.
Wash, dry, repair, and properly store uniforms and equipment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment room and locker room areas.
Inventory equipment and notify coaching staff of repair or replacement needs.
Assist with skate sharpening and minor equipment repairs after appropriate training.
Prepare benches, locker rooms, and game-day supplies before home and away contests.
Help load and unload equipment for travel when required.
Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment handling guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach or equipment manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current student in good academic standing.
Interest in hockey or willingness to learn equipment management procedures.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel based on the team's schedule.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
