Job Title: Zamboni Driver
Location: The Ice Palace, Brick, NJ
Position Responsibilities: The Ice Palace is looking to add an additional Zamboni driver to their roster.
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Zamboni Driver / Ice Technician to help maintain excellent ice conditions and support daily arena operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hockey, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Zamboni Driver / Ice Technician to help maintain excellent ice conditions and support daily arena operations. Responsibilities
- Operate the Zamboni to resurface ice before, during, and after hockey games and public skating sessions.
- Maintain clean, safe, and high-quality ice conditions.
- Perform basic daily inspections and routine maintenance on the Zamboni and ice equipment.
- Set up and break down for games, practices, tournaments, and special events.
- Clean locker rooms, benches, penalty boxes, and surrounding rink areas.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and report any safety concerns.
- Follow all arena safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous Zamboni experience is preferred but not required—training can be provided.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment.
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license
